The Ranch of Opportunity is located in Fayette County on a tranquil 22-acre ranch setting and offers a peaceful and healthy environment for teenage girls to live, learn, heal and grow in a residential setting. Responsibilities:
Provides and documents accurate, comprehensive diagnostic assessment and prescribes initial interventions in accordance with established practices and standards.
Assists the adolescent and parent/guardian to establish specific, measurable treatment goals and objectives with specific interventions.
Provides individual and family counseling in an outpatient setting in accordance with the treatment plan.
Provides crisis intervention as needed. Completes documentation in accordance with established rules, regulations and standards.
Coordinates client care with other service providers as necessary.
Maintains productivity expectations.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or a related field.
Preferred - Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or a related field..
Licensure Required: LSW, LPC, LISW or LPCC
Knowledge of and experience with mental health treatment (required) and substance abuse treatment (preferred), knowledge of and experience working with children with behavioral problems.
The position requires candidates to pass Safe Crisis Management (SCM) Training.

Job Skills/Requirements: The primary responsibility of this position is to work in an adolescent residential treatment center with girls ages 13-17 that have experienced a high prevalence of traumatic events. Will also be responsible for the overall implementation of policies and procedures while providing quality, effective, and efficient therapeutic interventions and for the direct sight and sound supervision of the clients while in treatment.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree or higher in related field (Social Work, Criminal Justice and Psychology OR High School Graduate with 1 year experience in a residential setting.
Valid driver's license, car insurance, and safe driving record desired.
Must be at least 21 years old.
This position requires candidates to pass Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training. SCM training teaches de-escalation skills and physical restraint training used for client safety.

The Ranch offers a peaceful and spacious environment, away from the negative influence of peers. It will provide a healthy setting for adolescents to live, learn and develop.
Responsibilities:
The Residential Shift Leader is the supervisor of the Residential Specialists on their scheduled shift and is responsible for regularly directing their work on the designated shift.
Understand the physical, mental, behavioral and emotional impacts of trauma and how they may be manifested through the daily behaviors of the residents and assist other program staff in gaining this understanding in order to provide appropriate interventions.
The Residential Shift Leader will ensure that the staff of the program demonstrates a strong commitment to providing trauma informed services within the milieu setting.
The Shift Leader ensures the day-to-day shift functioning of the unit and overall operations, decisions, documentation, and activities of the unit are completed accurately. Must be diplomatic with multiple types of persons and personalities.
They are involved in the recommendation as to hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other change of status of employees on their shift.
May provide on-call services to assigned program.
Residential Shift Leader is responsible for submitting a monthly shift schedule to the Director for approval one week prior to the start of every month.
Requirements:
Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and leadership experience is preferred.
Preferred 6 months experience working with adolescent clients and possess acceptable written/oral skills.
Qualified applicant must possess the ability to work in partnership with other team members with the ability to set limits while maintaining the helping role.
Caring and empathetic person who understands the high prevalence of traumatic experiences in persons who receive behavioral health services.
Knowledge of children who have experienced complex traumas, mental health and substance abuse issues.
Knowledge of licensing regulations as applied to the functioning of the unit and is able to apply that knowledge to successfully pass audits and other licensing inspections and many more duties as necessary is preferred.
Preferred 6 months experience working with adolescents’ clients and possess acceptable written/oral skills. Staff must be able to respond appropriately to the cultural differences among Eastway’s service population. Qualified applicant must possess the ability to work in partnership with other team members. Able to set limits while maintaining the helping role.
This position also requires candidates to pass Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training, which requires individuals to be physically capable of sustained, intense exertion. May not have a physical disability or condition that would prevent one from participating in the physical restraint techniques and exercises (such as dropping repeatedly to knees, supporting another adult's weight, twisting and turning.

Must be a registered LPN or RN through the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Eastway Behavioral Healthcare is a private, not-for-profit provider of mental health, substance abuse, housing, residential, and employment services in the Miami Valley. We offer housing options for adult clients needing fully staffed, 24-hour a day, safe housing and supportive services and are currently in need of a Residential Specialist. The goal of these facilities is to increase mental health stability while decreasing homelessness and hospitalization due to lack of resources. This is an entry level position as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist.
We are currently hiring for multiple locations. Openings include:
Full-time, 1st Shift
Pool 3rd Shift at the Marshall House location with Fridays and Saturdays being regularly scheduled days each week (additional hours possible).
Pool 3rd Shift at the Xenia Ave location available.
What you will do:
As a Residential Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the daily functioning and well-being of our residents by:
Managing day-to-day operations of your assigned residential unit during your shift (including preparing meals and light cleaning)
Providing clients with medically necessary billable services and documenting them in CareLogic (our electronic medical records system)
Ensuring all activities and procedures comply with licensing regulations, helping units pass audits and inspections
Upholding all unit rules, guidelines, and safety procedures
Collaborating with residents, families, team members, and outside agencies to address issues and support client needs
Business office activities such as faxing, copying and basic computer work.
Requirements: H.S. Diploma/GED (proof of education required) and valid driver license with car insurance.

Eastway Behavioral Healthcare is a private, not-for-profit provider of mental health, substance abuse, housing, residential services in the Miami Valley. Currently hiring for full-time housing coordinators! This position will work Monday – Friday.
The Housing Coordinator assists program participants in identifying and applying for housing, as well as develops and maintains positive relationships with landlords.
The Housing Coordinator will monitor assigned independent consumers within the community and coordinate placements in timely fashion, including conducting home/apartment inspections.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures consumer welfare by conducting monthly home visits and encourages community stability by educating consumers on alternative subsidies, promoting med compliance, and maintaining appropriate ADL skills.
Assists clients with identifying and applying for eligible housing options and connects them with property managers in the community.
Does outreach to properties and landlords to establish new partnerships, understands minimum requirements of applicants, and maintains a list of viable properties.
Advocate for consumers as needed to overcome housing barriers by developing and maintaining a positive professional relationship with landlords.
Conduct monthly visits to ensure client welfare and appropriate living conditions.
Returns all phone calls, e-mails or other communications within one business day.
Ensures required documentation, including billable services are completed in timely fashion.
Performs various related duties and follow any additional instructions requested by supervisor.
Qualifications
Associates Degree or higher, preferably in Social Work, Mental Health or a related field.
